Price includes correction of all spelling, grammar and syntax errors, plus edits to improve flow and consistency of text. I also offer a re-writing/deep editing service, to alter the tone/style of a document, or provide a more focused/critical edit – please contact me for a quote. 1,000 words is my minimum order size, but if your document is larger than this, contact me for a proposal/quote based on your exact word count.

I am a professionally trained proofreader and copy editor, UK-educated up to postgraduate level (consistent first class degrees). With this service I can edit website copy, press releases, corporate communications, articles, interviews, blog posts, reports, letters, speeches, conference papers, fiction and non-fiction books, e-books and any other kind of professional, formal or informal text. I offer a separate service for academic writing, which I also specialise in.

I have an exceptional eye for detail; I can correct grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors, ensure tone, tense, and personage is consistent, improve the flow of text, anglicise US text, re-structure sentences where needed, flag inconsistencies or lack of clarity, and summarise or reduce longer texts.

I have several years’ experience proofreading for professional clients and companies. I am familiar with both native and non-native English speech to text conversion, and am able to make broken English read fluently.
